Our Vision
The Salvation Army Anderson Citadel is a ministry dedicated to giving a ‘hand-up’, providing basic life resources that create self-sufficient and spiritually-centered individuals in Madison County, Indiana.
Our Objectives
Leadership: to manage organizational assets to ensure current and future capacity to fulfill our mission and vision
- by increasing and diversifying our funds to sustain service capacity
- by increasing and diversifying our staff, board and church leadership capacity
- by increasing and diversifying our facility through annually reviewing long-term needs, and if or when necessary, expanding building capacity
Community: to become a church home to a larger congregation
- by enhancing our worship experience
- by enhancing our public awareness
- by enhancing our member training
Family: to enhance our development programs and services creating greater impact on the families served
- by engaging clients in all areas of our work so that by participating in a variety of services each household can become more well-rounded family units
- by educating staff in all areas of our work so that each employee can properly bridge from one service to another
- by equipping volunteers in all areas of our work so that individuals will be matched in their respective areas of service
