Marine Brings Hope to Bloomington

aaron-1Hope has a new face at The Salvation Army and his name is Aaron Byerley. There are three things that we thought you should know about our latest hire…

1. Aaron is a Marine. He fought to protect our country and as a Logistics Support Professional in the Corps, he knows how to ensure that resources are being cared for and being put to their best uses. The next time you stop by The Salvation Army, come in and thank Aaron for his service.

2. Aaron is an IU grad. As he works daily to help Hoosiers in need, Aaron’s degree from Indiana University ensures a high caliber of work. His accolades from this time are sure to continue to lead The Salvation Army to a future of effectively meeting human needs in Christ’s name.

3. Aaron loves the Lord. Now, only God knows what’s in our hearts, but look at where Aaron has chosen to work: Christian Academy of Indiana, Indiana University Christian Student Fellowship, Cape Carteret Baptist Church, and now The Salvation Army. All of these organizations look to glorify the Lord, and we are excited to have Aaron help preach the Gospel of Christ.

Aaron is the Bloomington Corps’ Business Manager and he will be assisting Lt. Sharyn to ensure that The Salvation Army continues to be a good steward of resources. Our ministry is motivated by the love of God, and our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. With Aaron on our team, we can’t wait to see what God has in store for the Bloomington Salvation Army!
