Clothing Vouchers
The Salvation Army’s Thrift Store receives hundreds of pounds of gently used items every day and voucher recipients are able to find the right items for their household at no cost.
Hours
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9:00am-11:30am
Tuesday and Thursday: 1:00pm-3:30pmSalvation Army clothing vouchers are given to households twice a year. We generally recommend that one be used for warmer clothing and the other for cooler clothing.
Vouchers allow households to bring home 10 items per person, but no more than 30 items total per voucher.

The Salvation Army can assist with housing in the event of natural disaster or other such emergency such as a fire, tornado or flooding.

Medication Assistance
The Salvation Army currently assists with the purchase of non-controlled substance medications up to $40.
We have been known to help with medical equipment, but only up to the $40 limit.
The Salvation Army also provides free eyecare and eye glasses every year in a partnership with the Lions Clubs of Monroe County and the IU School of Optometry.

Rental Assistance
The Salvation Army offers assistance on rent. In most cases clients receive $50-100 toward their rental bill.
Rental assistance is available only by appointment and after having a case accepted or denied by the township trustee. If you do not know who your township trustee is, this map should help.
