Come Join Our Army! Mazulu did.

The Bloomington Corps has one more soldier in its ranks. Mazulu Ntshangase took that important step Sunday in a ceremony celebrating his enrollment in The Salvation Army.

Mazulu’s story is one of many young people deciding to take that step for Christ. Having accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, and desiring to fulfil their membership of His Church on earth as a soldier of The Salvation Army, they, by God’s grace, enter into a sacred covenant. A soldier is an integral part of the health of a local Salvation Army. Soldiers serve in leadership roles in the Church such as Sunday School teachers, womens ministry sargeants, young people’s secretary and leadership boards. To date there are nearly half a million soldiers in the United States.
