Women’s Tea and Purse Auction – October 1, 2010

The women at the Salvation Army know how to have fun!  Both our Spring and Fall teas are elegant events that celebrate the women who do so much for our community and families.    The purse auction - which serves as both a “closet cleaner” and fundraiser – is loads of fun!  A silent auction finds new homes for donated purses and raises money to support the food pantry and other projects undetaken by our Womens’ ministry group.  

 
 

At the teas, the MEN serve the ladies – and they do it with style!

An inspirational speaker is another highlight of the tea.  At the Fall 2009 event, Maj. Vicki Amick, fondly dubbed our “Divisional Queen,” was our guest speaker.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All women are invited to attend, with tickets  ($5) available approximately 3 weeks prior to the event at the Salvation Army office.
