Social Services

The Salvation Army meets the humanitarian needs of people in need, guiding them to physical, mental and spiritual betterment. Throughout the tri-state of Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties, The Salvation Army exists as a catalyst in helping people change their lives for the better. Successful and proven Salvation Army programs each day assist the homeless, addicted, poor, afflicted, elderly and less-fortunate, at-risk youth in our community.

Social Service programs provide emergency financial assistance such as rent/mortgage assistance, utilities (gas/electric), food, and unique needs to families or individuals in crisis.

The Salvation Army’s newest adult program, K.A.S.H. (Knowledge, Accountability, Skills & Habits) 4 Change has been very successful.  This program offers many diverse subjects, such as financial literacy, self-esteem, job readiness, positive parenting, and personal hygiene.
