Baby Charlotte in the NICU

Charlotte Ministries is a NICU Assistance program, inspired by a staff member’s struggle with having a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit (and in special cases, children with cancer or other medical issues.)

Evaluated on a case-by-case basis, The Salvation Army provides care packages as well as financial assistance for families with a child currently in an Allen County NICU. Assistance is provided upon demonstration of need and based upon donations received.

CURRENT CASE: Baby Samuel

bobby

Samuel was born premature and will most likely remain in the hospital until October. Born at 23 weeks, he weighed 1 lb and 7 oz.
Having just moved here, the family is living in a hotel and struggling to provide for basic needs, let alone for when Samuel is released. Baby Samuel need preemie clothing, diapers, and ANYTHING baby related (new or gently used.)
Will be accepting through August for Baby Samuel. This is a family truly in need, referred by a caseworker from the hospital. Anything baby boy related would be greatly appreciated.

Donations for Baby Samuel can be dropped at 2901 North Clinton, Fort Wayne Mon-Fri from 8:30-4:30 until August 29, 2014
