Volunteer

Often referred to as “The Army behind The Army”, volunteers play a crucial role in changing lives in the greater Fort Wayne Community through The Salvation Army programs.  The volunteers are the dedicated individuals who stand with staff each day ensuring the hungry are fed, sandbags are filled, youth received homework assistance, families have a place to sleep and so much more.  Volunteers enable The Salvation Army to do the most good with each contribution stretching our resources to have even a greater impact in the lives of families in need.
