SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our exciting Sunday School classes start every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. We have classes for all family members that will encourage and challenge you. There is an Adult Bible Class, a class for High School and Jr. High School students. Children in Kindergarten through sixth grade are involved in Rotation Sunday School Classes that meet in the Christian Education Department (in thematic Sunday School rooms.) These classes are based on Bible stories and include activities such as arts/crafts, storytelling, drama/puppets, and video screening. There is also a separate class for nursery/pre-school children .
Sunday School is for the entire family.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Women of ages 14 and up are welcome to join us for Women’s Ministry. We have two meeting times, weekly on Wednesday afternoons at 7:00 p.m. and we also have a “ladies night out” one Friday night each month. Our Wednesday group meets for a time of fun and fellowship. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate in either of the programs.
Programs are based on a four-fold program, emphasizing Education, Fellowship, Service, and Worship.
TEEN BIBLE STUDY
Planned for today’s teenagers, this Bible Study focuses on issues that they face everyday, giving them solid biblical answers to some of today’s toughest questions. The Teen Bible Study meets weekly on Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 p.m.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY
We have an Adult Bible Study that meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. The main focus is discipleship and Spiritual Growth.
COMMUNITY CENTER
Our Community Center programs are available for young people in 1st through 12th grade. The Center is open on Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. during the school year. .
SUNBEAMS, GIRL GUARDS, AND CUB SCOUTS
Sunbeams, Girl Guards, and Cub Scouts are Christian character building programs focused on helping children learn about themselves and their world. They will do this through participating in programs centered around education, fellowship, service, and worship. Youth programs meet on Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. Any girl or boy regardless of race, color, or religion may become a member of the local troop.
Sunbeams: girls grades 1—5
Girl Guards: girls grades 6—12
Cub Scouts: boys grades 1—5.
GUARDIANS OF TRUTH (COLOR GUARD)
Christian music, flags and a message. A flag drill team that creates routines to Christian music. Guardians of Truth perform at various events conveying the gospel message through the use of flag movement and music. This group practices on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm
SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS
During the summer The Salvation Army runs a Summer Day Camp for youth in grades 1-6. Youth participate in a large array of activities including reading, computer programs, field trips, sports, and much more.
The Salvation Army offers youth (7-18) and families a chance to get away for a week of fun at its Hidden Falls Camp facility in Bedford, IN.
