Are you ready for the summer? We are!
Registration is now open for our exciting summer day camp program, “Summer on the Square.” Camp runs for eight weeks from June 5 through July 28 and costs just $55/week per child ages 5-12. Summer on the Square will offer a different theme each week that will give YOUR kids a chance to have tons of fun, make lasting friendships and have a summer that only Fountain Square could have! Themes include Outdoor Explorers, Drama-O-Rama, Safari Adventures, A Week at the Beach, Weird & Wacky, and more! Our day camp will provide weekly doses of learning, games, swimming, musical instruction, and field trips. The fun never stops!
Registration and tuition is required – and space is limited so claim your spot today!
Dates: June 5 – July 28 (excluding Saturday’s, Sunday’s, and July 3&4)
Times: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Regular Hours
7:30 am – 5:30 pm Extended Hours
Tuition is $55 a week per child for regular hours and $65 a week per child for extended hours. Breakfast and dinner are not provided for children with extended hours – however there will be an afternoon snack everyday. Payment options include full payment upfront, weekly, or bi-weekly payments. See Early Bird Specials below for the benefit of paying upfront ahead of time! The cost of tuition is in addition to the registration fee.
There are multiple ways to register your child for our day camp this year. You will be able to print registration forms and send them into our office OR you can register your child online! There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee per child that is due after you have filled out the registration forms and received a letter confirming your child’s placement in our camp. This solidifies your child’s place as well as covers the cost of their T-shirt.
Early Bird Specials!
If you register before May 1st you receive 50% off the registration fee.
Register and pay before June 1st and you get the eighth week for FREE.
We offer a $10 Sibling Discount for families with 3 or more children.
Scholarships are also available for those who qualify. Contact our office to apply.
We accept payments of cash or checks (made payable to The Salvation Army). Payments should be delivered in person or mailed to: Bre Nicholson, 1337 Shelby St. Indianapolis, IN 46203. Please write “Day Camp Payment – Child’s Name(s)” in the memo line of checks or included on a note for cash.
What to Bring: A cheerful attitude, a mind ready to learn, an eagerness to participate and have fun, and, of course, a swimming suit every week!
What NOT to Bring: Toys, games, cell phones, electronic devices, etc. The Salvation Army is not responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen, or broken while your child is attending Day Camp.
Parent Information Night:
We will be holding a Parent Information Night shortly before the start of the summer. There will be an opportunity for questions, staff introductions, and going over the Day Camp Handbook. Childcare will be provided with an opportunity for kids to meet each other before day camp begins!
