The “miracle” of Christmas happens again and again through the joy of caring and sharing. The Salvation Army Red Kettle is a tradition of the Christmas scene in Grant County, as much a part of the holiday season as the presents and trees, with thousands of dollars donated each year to aid individuals and families in need, develop youth, and simply bring hope into the most hopeless of situations. Many of The Salvation Army ministries and services operate only because of the time and donations we receive through the Red Kettle Campaign.
And this year, we need your help. Be a part of Salvation Army’s timeless red kettle tradition by volunteering to ring a bell this year, greeting holiday shoppers and spreading Christmas cheer. Bring your friends, family and coworkers and help our cause by ringing a bell in front of one of our generous local businesses.
You too can be a bell ringer, a bright smile-giver, an advocate for hope, this Christmas season. Join the tradition of giving and discover what a joy it is to know that you’re making a difference in your community. Individuals, families, and groups can all volunteer to the ring The Salvation Army bell at one of our various locations in Marion and Gas City.
The 2016 Red Kettle Campaign begins on Friday, November 18th, and will end on Christmas Eve.
Online registration will open August 1, 2016 at registertoring.com.
