The Salvation Army in Marion, IN serves the community of Grant County through programs and services to bring hope to people's lives.  The Salvation Army is committed to Doing Good in the community through meeting human needs while sharing the love of God with others.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Our team

Lieutenant Blake Fewell - Corps Officer

Lt. Blake Fewell has served as the corps officer and pastor of The Salvation Army in Marion, IN since 2016.  A native of Rockford, IL, Lt. Blake has been a part of The Salvation Army Church his entire life.  He is passionate about Salvation Army theology and ministry.  Other passions include communications, ice hockey, social media, reading, writing, and preaching.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in systematic theology from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and is currently working towards his Master's degree.
