New Albany Salvation Army Assists with Bedford Tornado Response

Thursday, May 26, 2011 a New Albany Disaster Services team helped solidify the response to Wednesday evenings tornado in Bedford, Indiana.  A team of three provided food, beverages, counsel and encouragement to those recovering from the aftermath of a category F2 tornado which battered an area just outside of Bedford.  The New Albany team provided support to an existing team from Bedford which is now following up with on-going support and long-term assistance to those in need.
